Responsible Alcohol Seller Program

Alcohol Seller/Server Training Class (ASSTC)
The Alcohol Seller/Server Training Class (ASSTC) was developed to assist permittees in training employees on the responsible sales and service of alcoholic beverages. The program teaches the latest tools and techniques in detecting underage and intoxicated patrons and utilizes "Fatal Vision" impairment goggles to add realism to the training. This program is free of charge and lasts approximately 1 hour. Topics covered during the training include:

  • Underage Sales
  • Refusing Intoxicated Patrons
  • Dram Shop Liability
  • Detecting fake, altered and imposter ID's
  • Hours of Sale
  • Rules and Laws on conduct
  • Acceptable Identification
  • Clearing of tables and counters

ABC Store Employee Training Class (ABC Store Employees ONLY)
This class is similar to the Alcohol Training Class but in addition to the topics listed above, issues concerning robberies and shoplifting are covered.
