Responsible Alcohol
Seller Program
(RASP)
RASP (Responsible Alcohol Seller Program) is an employee alcohol awareness training program
designed to teach employees how to responsibly sell and serve alcoholic beverages. This program
covers topics including: sales to underage persons, sales to intoxicated persons, dram shop liability,
hours of sale, acceptable ID's, how to spot fake, altered and imposter ID's and much more.
Employees get to experience the effects of alcohol while wearing FATAL VISION impairment
goggles. This class lasts approximately 1 hour.

The "ABC Retail Guide" was created to provide permittees and employees with important in-
formation about selling and serving alcohol in North Carolina.
2001 Alcoholic Beverage Control Laws and Rules of North Caroilna
