Definitions:
Retail: a business that sells alcoholic beverages at retail, such as a restaurant, convenience store, grocery store, private club, sports club, etc...more

Commercial: a business engaged in production or wholesale sales, such as a winery, distillery, malt beverage wholesaler, etc... more

Salesman or Vendor Representative: the permittee may sell and transport malt beverages for a malt beverage wholesaler or sell and transport unfortified and fortified wine for a wine wholesaler (salesman), OR permit permittee may represent an unfortified winery, fortified winery, limited winery, brewery, bottler, importer, nonresident malt beverage vendor, or nonresident wine vendor, either as an employee or an agent, to solicit orders for that commercial permittee‘s product (vendor representative)...more

Commercial Transportation: allows a non-retailer to transport more than 80 liters of malt beverages other than draft malt beverages in kegs, 20 liters of unfortified wine, or eight liters of fortified wine or spirituous liquor...more 

Special One-Time Permit: a permit issued to an organization/individual, including non-profit  and political organizations, collectors, and persons who have acquired ownerhsip of alcoholic beverages through a special occurrance (inheritance, foreclocure, bankruptcy,etc).  The permit is issued for a special function, such as a fund-raiser, going out of business sale, special transportation, etc...more

Limited Special Occasion Permit: authorizes the permittee to bring fortified wine and spirituous liquor onto the premises of a business, with the permission of the owner of that property, and to serve those alcoholic beverages to the permittee’s guests at a reception, wedding, party or other special occasion being held there...more
