| Jonathan S. Williams - Chairman |
Chairman Williams previously served as Deputy Secretary for the Department of Crime Control and Public Safety. Mr. Williams joined the Department of Crime Control and Public Safety in 1999 and served as General Counsel, Legislative Liaison and as Assistant Secretary for Administration. He was in the private practice of law in Goldsboro from 1990 to 1999.
Chairman Williams earned a bachelor's degree in political science and philosophy and a law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was elected President of the Student Bar Association. At the law school he earned awards for the highest grades in Constitutional Law and in Trial Advocacy, was selected for the National Trial Competition Team and the Holderness Moot Court Bench, and at graduation was inducted by the faculty into the Davis Honorary Society.
Mr. Williams has served since 2006 as a member of the board of directors of the North Carolina Center for Voter Education and was named president of the organization in 2008. He completed the 2008 Center for Creative Leadership's special program for senior state government leaders. For six years, he served as the attorney for the Wayne County Guardian ad Litem program representing abused and neglected children. The North Carolina Jaycees named Mr. Williams as one of its Five Outstanding Young North Carolinians for 1999, and the Goldsboro-based Alliance of Retired Military recognized him in 2002 for his pro bono legal work on behalf of military retirees' health benefits.
Mr. Williams and his wife, Rose, have two children.

| A.D. "Zander" Guy, Jr. - Member |
 Zander Guy has been a North Carolinian his entire life being raised in the southeast. He attended Campbell University and is a graduate of the Realtors Institute. He owns and operates Zander Guy Real Estate in Surf City, North Carolina.
Commissioner Guy currently serves as Mayor of the Town of Surf City and is a member of the Cape Fear Community College Foundation Board and UNC-W Parents Council. He previously served on the N.C. Banking Commission under Governors Hunt, Martin, Easley and Perdue. He is past President of the Neuse River Council of Governments, past member of the Local Government Advocacy Council, and former Mayor and Councilman of the City of Jacksonville. He holds twenty years of elected office in municipal government.
Commissioner Guy is married to Sabrina M. Guy and they have three children and one grandchild.
